TOC #38: Blog Post Ideas!
(September 28, 2021) Some creative inspo for your next post
A few days ago, I was texting my friend Abby about the launch of her new website.
Specifically, we were texting about how that launch has been delayed because writing your own website when you're a website copywriter is a lot of damn pressure. She's a talented writer and can do it for her clients all day long, but whenever she thought of doing her own site, she chickened out and pushed it to the back burner.
(Sorry for calling you out, Abby.)
She'd finally decided to get over it, get her ass in gear, and start making moves to actually launch it sometime soon, but launching a new website isn't as easy as simply writing the copy, inputting it into the design, and clicking ‘publish.’
There are tonnnsss of things on the *new website to-do list* but one of the biggest items is blogging.
During our conversation about her new site, Abby mentioned (complained) that she needed to finally start—and, in an effort to avoid unsolicited advice, I asked her if she wanted my input on what to write about. She happily agreed to hear me out, and I proceeded to rattle off about 15 blog post ideas for her, so she would have no more excuses left to support her long-time launch delay.
Our conversation quickly moved onto cute toddler photos and chaotic audio messages about nothing at all, but I later thought about our chat, and realized that Abby definitely isn't the only one struggling with what to write about right now, so…
Let's talk about blogging, shall we?
